Moonlight And Magnolias Moonlight And Magnolias
by Ron Hutchinson

This hilarious new Off-Broadway hit tells the 'real' story of how the script for the epic movie Gone With the Wind was written: desperate to save his studio, movie mogul David O. Selznick has just shut down production. The screenplay just doesn't work. So what's an all-powerful producer to do? He summons ace screenwriter Ben Hecht and director Victor Fleming to his office to come up with a winner. Barricaded in Selnick's office, living on a diet of peanuts and bananas, the men turn their world upside down as they give birth to one of the most beloved films of all time. If only screenwriter Hecht had actually read the novel- 'Sweet, sweet madness-for two solid hours the jokes keep rolling in and paying off.' Cincinnati Beat

Rated PG-13
