Jobs at Sierra Repertory Theatre
SEEKING: COSTUME DESIGNERS Sierra Repertory Theatre is accepting resumes from experienced, talented freelance costume designers for the remainder of their 2010 season: DIAL M FOR MURDER, SHIPWRECKED, STAND BY YOUR MAN: THE TAMMY WYNETTE STORY, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, BIG RIVER, MASTER CLASS, RED WHITE AND TUNA, WHITE CHRISTMAS and THE ANDREWS SISTERS: CHRISTMAS OF SWING.
Depending on size of show, commitment is 2-4 weeks, salary $1200-1500 + housing + travel + transportation. Must have exceptional design skills, experience working with cast sizes large and small. Hands-on draping/cutting + wig/hair experience a plus. A permanent resident staff of six will assist the builds.
Please check our website for performance dates of shows you are interested in – designer on-site commitments are typically 2-3 weeks prior to opening night.

Working at Sierra Repertory Theatre SRT is always looking for talented people. Specifically, we need carpenters, set painters and stitchers on a part-time basis while we are building our shows. If you have a skill that you feel may help us out, please email us your resume and a brief note on how you can help to: admin@sierrarep.org.
Many of our long-term employees started as volunteers, in the box office, in the costume shop or constructing sets, please consider lending us your talents on a volunteer basis while you get to know us.
